Burial Options & Personalization
A service most often chosen is the traditional funeral that includes pallbearers, visitation, and memorial service. John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home will transport the casket to the funeral location and cemetery for a burial or entombment.
This option can cost more than other options being that they consist of many details. There is a wide variety of services that include a casket, flowers, embalming, dressing, room rentals and extra vehicles to transport family members. Cemetery plots or crypt are extra options, but we can help with everything you need.
Important Service Details to Think About:
Why the Traditional Service is So Popular
A traditional service for burial, entombment or cremation is a way to get family, friends and associates together to remember, grieve−and celebrate a life well lived. Whatever service style you prefer, it is the beginning of closure; it is the emotional side of accepting that someone we love is gone.
Direct Burial - You may prefer to have the burial shortly after death. We offer simple containers, and because there is no viewing or visitation, no embalming is required. You choose whether to have a memorial service. Costs include the basic service fee as well as transportation and care of the body, the purchase of a casket or burial container and a cemetery plot or crypt.
Cremation - John L. Ziegenhein & Sons believes you should have the opportunity to choose from all the service options available. Today, more people are considering cremation as an alternative to customary earth burial--after the opportunity to say good-bye and to share grief with family and friends. Cremation is truly a personal decision.
