Son of the late Aloysius H. and Elizabeth M. (nee Koettker) Book. Devoted father of Al G. III (Sandy), Larry (Colette) and Gerre Book; loving grandfather of Alexis, A. Patrick (Jessica), Sean, Daniel (Hilarie), Greg (Lauren), Nicole Book and Julie (Brian) Hilkerbaumer. Adoring great grandfather of Henry, Eileen, Maisie, Aiden, Riley and Mitchell. Dear brother of the late Mary Ann (Robert) Stege, Harry (Joan) and Andrew (Gayle, surviving) Book. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, godfather and friend to many.

Longtime member of I.H.M. Men’s Club, member of Society of St. Vincent de Paul (I.H.M. Conference), and member of Knights of Columbus DuBourg Council 4099. Masses preferred or donations to I.H.M. Society of St. Vincent de Paul or I.H.M. Parish Endowment Fund.

Services: Family and friends to gather at Immaculate Heart of Mary (4092 Blow St.) for visitation from 10am until time of mass at 11am on Monday, January 25, 2021. Private interment Jefferson Barracks.
