Albert Yanko

Yanko, Albert A. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Emma Yanko (nee Steiner) for 68 years; loving father of Ron (Barb) Yanko, Sue (John) Dunn, Al (Kathy) Yanko, Thomas (Shelley) Yanko, Charles Yanko, Pat (Wilson) Lorenz, Tony (Leslie) Yanko and Mary (Gary) Liebeskind, dear grandfather of 19, great-grandfather of 20, brother, step-brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and dear friend to many. Albert was a member of Local 36 Sheet Metal Workers for 66 years, an avid gardener and all around great guy. In fulfillment of his wishes, Albert has donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. Services: Family and friends to gather at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 3014 Oregon, Sunday, May 5th for Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM.
