Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Allan August Klages passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 87.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents, the late Henry and Jeanette Klages (née Nilhas), and his sister, the late Diane Warhover. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Klages (née Murphy), with whom he shared 64 years of devoted marriage. A loving and devoted father, he is survived by his sons, Brent M. (Janis) Klages and Timothy A. (Peggy) Klages. He was a cherished grandfather to Katie (Allan) Finnegan, August “AJ” (Bailie) Klages, Jack (Abby) Klages, Christopher Klages, Will (Alana Moylan) Klages, and Deven Klages, and a dear great-grandfather to Brody Finnegan, Camden Klages, and Emmett Klages.
A man of deep faith, Allan lived his life guided by devotion to God and family. He proudly served in the Air Force Reserves and dedicated 36 years of loyal service to Anheuser-Busch. Allan had a love for golf, bicycling, and hunting, and he especially treasured traveling and playing golf alongside his beloved wife. Above all, Allan found his greatest joy in his family, spending time with his grandchildren and faithfully attending their sporting events brought him immense pride and happiness.
Allan will be remembered for his steadfast faith, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of devotion, kindness, and quiet strength will live on in all who were blessed to know and love him.
