Anita Behrends

Anita Louise (Nunn) Behrends, 63, of St. Louis, Missouri, died February 15, 2022. Anita was born September 3, 1958 in Buffalo, MO to Forest “Pete” and Patsy (Harmon) Nunn. Her sister Pamela Ann (Nunn) Maynard preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband Steven Scott Behrends; brother William “Jackie” Nunn, and wife Marty; nieces Tammy (Maynard) Falls and Linda Maynard; nephew Joshua Maynard; great nieces and nephews Zachary, Colby, Mya, Larissa, Dalton and Jace.

After attending business college, Anita was a legal secretary for over 30 years. Anita “Aunt Dee” enjoyed gardening, cooking and walking on the beach collecting sea shells. And she absolutely loved celebrating Halloween and Mardi Gras. Anita’s family and many friends will always remember her kind heart, never-ending love and zest for life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11:00 am until Celebration of Life @ 12:00 Noon @ John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO 63129.
