Anna Consiglio, (née Passanante), a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on May 16, 2026, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on December 5, 1939, in Trapani, Sicily, Italy, Anna’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and vibrant community spirit.
Her journey from the picturesque shores of Sicily to the heart of St. Louis was marked by a deep devotion to family and friends. Anna was cherished not only for her nurturing nature but also for her lively spirit. She found great joy in dancing, listening to music, socializing with the Sicilian Cultural Association, and above all, preparing and cooking delicious meals that brought her loved ones together in celebration and warmth.
Anna’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She was the devoted mother of Donnie (Christine) Consiglio, Angelo (Peggy Glass) Consiglio, and Lorraine (Glenn) Brinkmann. Her love extended gracefully into the next generations; she was the cherished grandmother of Daniel Consiglio and his wife Kelly, Diane Pogue and her husband Matt, Edward Brinkmann and his wife Reina, Alex (Jenna Joachenstaler) Brinkmann, Samantha (Jacob Hausmann) Brinkmann, Kelsey Lane and her husband Ryan, and Emma Consiglio. Anna was also a proud great-grandmother to Gianni Consiglio, Carter Brinkmann, Brooks Brinkmann, and Charley Brinkmann, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Anna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Angelo and Rosa Passanante (née Giorgi), whose legacies she carried forward with dignity and love.
Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on May 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, located at 5130 Wilson Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
