Ludwig, Anna, (75) of Arnold, Missouri, was born to Roman and Josephine Flowers and entered into rest Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 54 years, Donald G. Ludwig, Sr., her son, Don Ludwig, Jr., her brother, Raymond Flowers and her sister-in-law, Rosemary Flowers.
She is survived by, her sons, Dan and Steve (Melissa) Ludwig, her grandchildren, Faith, Grace, and David, Jr., her siblings, Norman Flowers, Mary Lou (Ralph) Feldt, and Bill Flowers, her best friend since high school, Jean Gambill, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Anna loved spending time with her husband and traveling to different parts of the country and world. They have stories and pictures from Maui, Tahiti, Canada, the Caribbean, Germany, Switzerland, and others. One of her nicknames was “Coupon Annie”, being very wise with money and investments, and officially earning that name when she pulled out restaurant coupons while somewhere remote while in Canada. Upon retirement, she was thrilled to volunteer at Feed my People. Anna adored her grandchildren and the time she spent with her family and friends. She loved going to the YMCA to workout in group classes and meeting her friends there, also taking time to walk with her neighbors nearby. Her green thumb was a blessing and supported her passion for gardening and landscaping design. We love you Anna – friend, aunt, wife, grandma, mom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
