Arleen is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Alma (nee Calhoun) Parkinson, and a sister, Eula (Roman) Dilthey.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Kassing.

Arleen is the loving mother of daughter Karen (Shawn) Watz, and son, the late John (still living Jan) Kassing. In addition to her children, she was blessed with her grandchildren; Tiffanni Watz, Sinjin Watz, Keegan Watz, Daniel (Nicole) Kassing, Matthew Kassing, and Rachel Kassing. Arleen was the loving great- grandmother of Harlowe Hernton, Avalon Hernton, Sawyer Watz, Kinsley Kassing, and Aubrey Kassing.

She is also survived by her twin sister Eileen (Carl) McKinney, and brother, Stan (Judy) Parkinson.

Visitation to be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 5347 Donovan Avenue, Saint Louis, MO. 63109.

Funeral service will begin following visitation, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
