Audrey Schwertmann

Schwertmann, Audrey M. (nee Holz) of Town & Country, Missouri, was born to Otto and Estella Holz and was called home to Christ Wednesday, October 4, 2021, at the age of 94.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her devoted and beloved husband, Joseph Schwertmann, her brother, Robert Holz, her sister-in-law, Mary Holz and her brother-in-law, David Dove.

She is survived by, her cherished son, Timothy (Denise) Schwertmann, two (2) beloved grandchildren, Nicole (nee Schwertmann) Muratovic and Brian Schwertmann, five (5) adored great grandchildren, Melisa Muratovic, Nicholas Muratovic, Adam Muratovic, Delila Muratovic and Jersey Schwertmann, one (1) dear sister, Louise Dove, many other relatives and friends.

Audrey was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She served Christ and her family in all she did. She was a devoted member of Bethesda Evangelical Church where she served her community and church family as a Bible School Teacher and she was involved in Stephen Ministries. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Service Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethesda Evangelical Church, 85 Lemay Gardens Drive, St. Louis, MO 63125. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
