Audrey Anna Veach

Audrey Anna Veach passed away on August 4, 2023; beloved daughter of the late John and Theresa (nee Handsome) Piel; loving wife of the late Thomas Veach; cherished sister of the late John Piel, William “Pete” Piel, Leeanna Madden, Arline Hennen, Bernice Westerhold, Francis Marie Warne, Esther Dorothea “Dot” Kasate, Eleanor “Jean” Herbert; dear neighbor and friend Warren, Renee and “Little Warren” Cain; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

Audrey retired from a successful career at Bussman Fuse. She enjoyed fishing from time to time and had a passion for cooking and baking. Audrey loved all children and dogs. She was known to be a very giving woman and overall, she most enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Audrey will be missed by many loving friends and family.

Visitation will be held 4-8 pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, Missouri 63129. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 10, 2023 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 11:15.
