Kostecki, Rebecca Marie, (42) of Affton, Missouri, was born to James and Judith Neels and entered into rest Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Greg Kostecki.
She is survived by, the love of her life, her beloved son, Jackson, her supportive parents, her devoted sister, Melissa “Aunt Mini Van” Neels, her faithful dog, Rubble, and many other relatives and friends.
Becky was the youngest in her family, the baby girl, and a special gift from God. She received her master’s in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA. She worked for many years at Litzsinger School in the Special School District. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and co-worker. She was a confidant to those close to her, not only was she a listening ear but she had the ability to give sound advice. Becky’s love for others was endless which came back to her tenfold. The center of Becky’s universe was Jackson. Her every waking moment was devoted to his upbringing and happiness. Becky enjoyed the time she was able to spend engaging with Jackson, her family and playing with Rubble. She loved to go to the Lake of Ozarks to be with her relatives, to swim, and go boating. She enjoyed swimming in the family pool and barbecuing. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129) on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 being a real and present risk the family is asking that during the Visitation hours you please come pay your respects and exit. We are certain you understand the sensitivity of the situation as well as the responsibility of the family to keep Jackson and his caregivers safe. The Service will be Private. Interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
