Betty Lou Dilthey

Betty Lou Dilthey, nee Rick, born in St. Louis, Missouri, August 19, 1935, passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2024, at the age of 88. Cherished life partner of the late Gerald H. Kaiser; loving daughter of the late Louis Anton and the late Rose, nee Cooperman, Rick; beloved mother of Laura Elizabeth Rick and Stephen Louis (Chrissie) Dilthey, and grandmother of Tucker Louis Dilthey. Betty Lou also shared her love and life with bonus children the late Gerald "Nick" Kaiser and the late Stephen (Kim) Kaiser, and bonus grandchildren Anthony, Alyssa, Amanda, and Andrew Kaiser; blessed cousins, dear friend, and faithful neighbors Barbara Porter, Angel Echevarri, and Kirt Crouch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Legacy Animal Sanctuary or Stray Rescue of St. Louis.

Betty's life will be celebrated in a visitation that will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel on Monday July 8, 2024, from 9:30 AM until her funeral service at 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Her interment will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in St. Louis, starting at 11:45 AM.
