Billie Stavrides passed away on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at the age of 74. Devoted mother of daughter Stephanie (Sean) Gallagher and son Daniel (Maria) Stavrides; dear sister of Bonnie and Robert Reed; cherished grandmother of Taylor, Colton, Arielle, and Kalliope; daughter of the late Genevieve and the late William Reed; close friend of Pete Stavrides; and dear friend to many.
Billie had a career as a real estate agent and also found employment at Hobby Lobby craft store—but it did not feel like work. She was very artsy and had a special talent for and enjoyment of cross-stitching. Billie was a strong-willed and strong-minded woman, who will be greatly missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her, especially around the Christmas season, Billie’s favorite time of year.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
Billie’s visitation will be Thursday December 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Her funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday December 29, at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
