Capkovic, Carol A. (nee Hammerschmidt) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at age 80. Beloved wife of Joseph S. Capkovic for 57 years. Beloved mother of Stephan (Angela) Capkovic, Cathleen (the late Franjo) Krepelnik, Michael (Myrna) Capkovic and Mark (Anna) Capkovic. Loving grandmother of Stephan (Jessi) Capkovic, Jr., Amanda (Michael) Burgoyne, Christopher (Tara Domzalski) Capkovic, Franjo Krepelnik, Kathleen (Justin Curless) Capkovic, Christy (Brent) Wildhaber, Mark Capkovic Jr., Katie and Carli Capkovic. Dear great-grandmother of Alex, Abby, Luke, Caleb, Bernie, Bobby, Zachary, Audrey, Austin, Brynn and Blake. Dear sister of Alice Hammerschmidt and the late Edwin (Jeanette surviving) Hammerschmidt. Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Masses are appreciated.
Services: Visitation Monday, August 19th from 4 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County) 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Prayers Tuesday (8/20) at the funeral home 9:30 am to St. Mark Parish for Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am Tuesday. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
