Charles N. Moss peacefully entered into rest on the 9th of May 2023, at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. Moss (nee Dierkes); cherished father to Debra Baldridge (Jack), Patricia Tosie (Forrest), and Steven Moss (Katherine); dear grandfather to Gary Baldridge (Becky), Michelle Decker (Rob), Pam Tosie, Robert Tosie (Michelle), C.J. Moss, and Kyle Moss (Chelsea); great-grandfather to Kaylee, Madilynn, Andrew, and another on the way. Charles is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Charles was a proud World War II veteran. He later went on to work at Magic Chef before becoming a walking letter carrier and retired after 33 years. Charles was a past master of Trinity Lodge #641 AF & AM in 1978 and was a current member of the Spirit of St. Louis Lodge #27 AF & AM. Charles was known to be an avid gardener who had a green thumb, especially when it came to roses. He also had a prize-winning vegetable garden. Charles was a devoted family man.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Louis Zoo or the Missouri Botanical Gardens.

Visitation be held on Tuesday May 16, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63129. Funeral service will be held Wednesday May 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
