Charles Matthew Hail, a talented artist and musician known for his unique music on Rapchat, has bid farewell to us at the age of 37. Born on September 10, 1986, in St. Louis City, he left this world on December 16, 2023, in South County St. Louis. Charles was a remarkable individual whose life and legacy touched the hearts of all who knew him. 
 
With an inherent passion for artistic expression, Charles poured his soul into his music and artwork. His talent knew no bounds as he fearlessly explored new avenues of creativity. Through his music on Rapchat, he captivated listeners with lyrics that resonated deeply within their hearts. Charles had a unique ability to create something truly extraordinary. 
 
Charles was not only a remarkable artist but also a loving and devoted father. His proudest accomplishment was the love he had for his daughter, who meant the world to him. His love for her shone through in every aspect of his life, inspiring him to become the best version of himself. 
 
In addition to his loving daughter, Charles leaves behind a tight-knit circle of family and friends who cherished him greatly.  
 
Survived by his devoted father, Charles Hawkins, and stepmother Vicky Hawkins, Charles found unwavering support and love within his family. His mother Brenda Hail, sisters Tabitha Hail and Megan Hawkins and brothers Timothy Hawkins and Tyler Miller surrounded him with affection throughout his life's journey. Charles's family also consists of devoted nieces Cearra Hail, Breasia Gant, Emily Montgomery, Zoey Hawkins, and the beloved late Amiliya Hail. 
 
While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul taken from us too soon, let us remember the joy that Charles brought into our lives. In celebration of his life and to pay tribute to his memory, visitation services will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on December 27, 2023, at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel in St. Louis. 
 
The funeral service will follow on December 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, also at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel. This will be a time where we can come together as a community to honor Charles's life and find solace in the memories he has left behind. 
 
Charles Matthew Hail's departure has created a void that words alone cannot fill. His music will echo through time, reminding us of his artistic brilliance and the passion he brought to everything he created. Let us remember him for his unwavering love for his daughter and the way he touched our lives with his art. 
 
In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to Charles's family and friends. May they find comfort in knowing that his spirit will forever be with them, guiding and comforting them during this difficult period.
