Charles Williams

Williams, Charles L., of Florissant, Missouri, was born to Loren and Rosa (nee Boozer) Williams and was baptized with the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at home with his family at the age of 82 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Andrew Kaufman.

He is survived by, his devoted wife of 61 years, Angela M. (nee Cook) Williams, three (3) beloved children, Darla (Douglas) Ferguson, Andrea Kaufman, and Melanie (Patrick) Cooley, five (5) grandchildren, Kristin Ferguson, Ryan (Hannah) Ferguson, Jacob Kaufman, Joshua Cooley, Nathan Cooley, five (5) great grandchildren, Reuben, Eva, Naomi, Luka & Isaac Ferguson, three (3) siblings, Bill (Barbara) Williams, LaVonne Fisher, and Janice (Gary) Predmore, extended relatives and many friends.

Charles was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and a member of Toastmasters Int’l. He loved many things in life, but his number one love was spending time with his family. Charles read his Bible faithfully and adored studying scripture. He served his country as a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He served his community at his church as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader and a member of the Floor Cleaning Crew. He was not only a fan of watching all sports, but he also enjoyed playing them. Charles particularly loved his St. Louis Cardinals. His favorite dessert was a bowl of ice cream. Charles will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 12:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
