D. Chandler, Ph.D.

D. Aaron Chandler, Ph.D. 61, Passed away February 24, 2022. Beloved husband of Jill A. Forbes Chandler, nephew of Jane Hullings of Rensselaer, IN, and dear friend to many.

Aaron earned his Ph.D. in Historical Studies from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He was an avid reader of political and social history as evidenced by his voluminous personal library. In addition to reading, from August to February, he was a devoted football fan, especially of the Chicago Bears. Aaron also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, growing vegetables and sunflowers, and fishing when he got the chance.
