Dale Brayfield

Brayfield, Dale E., of O’Fallon, Missouri, was born to William and Betty Brayfield and entered into rest Friday, December 3, 2021, in Lake St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 63.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Brayfield, his sister, Linda Walker, his father-in-law, Richard Wood and two (2) stepchildren, Curtis Herndon and Natasha Cummings.

He is survived by, his loving wife, Joyce Brayfield, one (1) son, Zachary Brayfield, two (2) grandsons, Andrew Herndon and Benjamin Herndon, one (1) daughter-in-law, Sherri Shepherd, three (3) siblings, Patsy Schoenbeck, Daryle (Edith Brown) Brayfield and Karen (Brayfield) Parson, mother-in-law, Janet Wood, three (3) sibling-in-law, Chrisy Wood, Marsha Elsea, and Aaron (Mandy) Harris, nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephew, great great nephew, and friends.

Dale loved his wife and grandsons. He loved baseball and was a true fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. His laugh and silly jokes would light up a room. He adored his small family and the guys he worked with at GMP Metal. He was devoted to his job. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63116 with the Visitation, Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with the doors opening at 9:00 a.m. Interment at St. Matthews Cemetery.
