David Stripe

David E. Stripe, 77, of St. Louis, Missouri, born May 13, 1944, in St. Louis passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. Mr. Stripe is a veteran of the Vietnam War serving the U.S. Air Force from 1963-1971 attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his military service, Mr. Stripe started his career in the car wash industry and retired in 2021.

David was the son of; the late Charles and the late Dolores, nee Falast, Stripe, father of Gina (Ed) Bak of Arnold, MO, long-time companion of the late Cathy Henry, brother of; Marilyn (Robert) Hess, Linda (Robert) Cannon, Patricia Sanfilippo, and the late Sandra Payne, grandfather of; Justin, Kayla, Kristyn, and Dylan, great grandfather of; Arabella, Braylen, Olivia, Isla, and Kayden. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Buddy, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. A private graveside service will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
