David Volkman

Volkman, David, of Fenton, Missouri, was born to Charles and Gladys (nee Price) Volkman, Jr. and passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, in his hometown at the age of 66.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by, his loving wife of 32 years, Beth (nee Polm) Volkman; his loving son and daughter, David Michael Volkman, Jr. and Courtney (Ryan) Chernin; six (6) siblings, Pamela Leisinger, Christine (Ralph) Scott, Mark (Edna) Volkman, Danny (Lisa) Volkman, Tammy (Rich) Sessler and JoAnn Volkman; nieces and nephew, Jodi (Michael) Cull, Dana (Joe) Marquart, Andy Sessler, Ashley Yelvingto and Zach Yelvington; other relatives and friends.

David was a devoted husband and father. He treasured the time he was able to spend with his family. He was a hard worker and a good provider. David loved his pets and the animals he rescued were too numerous to count. He had a quick wit and great sense of humor. David was happiest when he was fixing an old car or riding his motorcycle.  He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services: Visitation, Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Doors open 9:00 am March 31, 2022, with the Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 am. Both will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116. Interment at Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville, Missouri.
