Dolores "Dee" Ellen Toth

Toth, Dolores (Dee/Do) Ellen Whaley (Mudd). Born March 23, 1946, was called home on Saturday July 27, 2024. Daughter of the late Charles J. and Ila Dale Whaley. Devoted wife of William "Bill" Gary Toth for 38 years. Loving mother of Linda Marie Mudd, Scott Collins (Tammy) Mudd, and the late Steven Joseph Mudd. Adoring grandmother of Phillip David Mudd and Heather Michelle Mudd. Dear sister of the late LaVerne E. (Patrick) Shoffner and Mary Ann E. (Ladi) Skrbin. Dear aunt, cousin, Godmother, and friend to many.

Every day, Dee thanked God for her abundant Blessings. She led a varied and interesting life, gaining many skills -and friends- along the way. Dee took pride in being the "go to" person in life, and enjoyed planning events and gatherings. Every new day meant something new to be learned, things to be shared. 

"Mom was the ultimate planner, so others who knew her can probably understand that she had all this ready for us. So if we missed something or someone- that's Linda's fault for not listening to [Dee]."

Grandma will always be remembered for her caring heart and ensuring a smile to all she encountered. Additionally, her vast vocabulary and making sure no one had an empty stomach with her warm bowls of chicken noodle soup during the winter were always a classic. We all loved her so much.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Patrick Center, American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.

A memorial visitation for Dee will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116 on Thursday August 1, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until her funeral service at 6:30 p.m. Family has chosen cremation for Dolores's final disposition.
