Dolores R. Rezek (née Iannicola) Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the age of 91.
With deep love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Dolores R. Rezek, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dolores was a woman of quiet strength and enduring grace.
Born to the late Anthony J. and Marie G. Iannicola (née Colantone), Dolores grew up with a spirited heart and a love for life that never faded. She was the beloved wife of Charles L. Rezek, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.
Dolores was the devoted mother of Steve (Michelle) Rezek, Kevin (Sandy) Rezek, Tony (Robin) Rezek, and Joe (Krista) Rezek, and the cherished grandmother of Angie (Kyle) Largent, Cheri Rezek, Meghan Rezek, Adam Rezek, Austin Rezek, Alyssa (Tom) Bacon, Sophia Rezek, and Grace Rezek. Her legacy continues through her dear great-grandchildren, Tyler and Oliver, who brought her endless joy.
A graduate of St. Alphonsus Liguori (Rock) High School and proud member of the Varsity Basketball team, Dolores carried that same team spirit and determination throughout her life. She had a deep love for flowers—especially roses—and found peace and pleasure in the simple joys of reading and solving puzzles. A lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, she admired legends like Stan “The Man” Musial and Marty Marion, and often reminisced about taking the streetcar to old Sportsman's Park to watch the game.
Above all, Dolores’s heart belonged to her family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love were the foundation of her home and the light in the lives of those who knew her. She will be remembered for her gentle smile, her quiet wisdom, and the way she made everyone feel like family.
Her faith, her love, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
