Donald L. Hagemeyer

Donald L. Hagemeyer, a beloved father, veteran, and creative spirit, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the age of 76. Son of the late Ira and Beatrice Hagemeyer nee Olliges; beloved husband of the late Mary M. Hagemeyer nee Bierman; loving father of Dawn A. Hagemeyer and the late Melissa Hagemeyer; dear brother of Charlene (the late Jerry) Neal nee Hagemeyer; he was an uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Born in 1948, Donald lived a life full of imagination, laughter, and love. A proud Navy veteran, he served his country with honor and carried that same sense of dedication into every aspect of his life. After his service, Don found joy in the simple pleasures like crafting creations out of papier-mâché, a good meal he enjoyed was a cheeseburger with fried potatoes with a cold Coca-Cola, and laughing along with his favorite show, The Three Stooges.

Donald was a man of deep love and loyalty. He was married to the love of his life, Mary, from 1972 until her passing in 2015. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Above all, Don cherished his family, always putting them first and filling their lives with warmth, humor, and creativity.

His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the art he created, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
