Donald E. Hartrup

Passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. Donald lived a wonderful 95 years. He wore many hats during those years from being husband for 50+ years, a wonderful father of 2 sons, father-in-law, a grandpa to 5, a great and great great grandfather to many. He served our country in World War II. He was a railroad worker. He loved fishing, bowling and his game shows on the TV. He never passed up a dessert from his muffins to pie to cake, I can't imagine the party that was held for him in heaven when he arrived as he was reunited with so many. Donald's son, Kevin, took care of him and let pass away peacefully at his home. Rest in peace Donald.

Services: Urn burial Monday, February 1, 2021, meeting at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons (7027 Gravois Avenue) at 9:45am to drive in procession to arrive at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:30am. Please be mindful at this time, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery is allowing 10 people to be present at services. Thank you for your understanding.
