Donald G. Weiler

Donald George Weiler, age 92 of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, April 19th, 2024, of natural causes. He was born in St. Louis, and graduated from Cleveland High School before serving in the US Navy.

In 1956, Donald married Peggy Sue Cooper, and together they shared 67 years of marriage and raised four children: Lori Weiler, Gail Daugherty, David (Tricia) Weiler, and Donna (Stephen) Webb. Donald had a remarkable 42-year career in sales and management with Swift Independent/ConAgra, retiring in 1995.

He cherished spending time with his family, including his grandchildren Shannon, Timothy, and Leah Daugherty, Jessica Webb, and great-grandchild Ivy Connor. Donald was known for his love of animals and nature, and he was an active member of his faith community at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church. Donald is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his parents Clara and August Weiler, and his brother Richard Weiler.

A memorial service will be held at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church on Friday, April 26th, with visitation at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A luncheon at the church will follow the service. Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 29th. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favorite charity are welcomed in honor of Donald's memory.
