Dorothy V. Anderson passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the age of 92, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life.

Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late John and Dorothy Murray (née Trumpleman) and the devoted wife of the late Ralph G. Anderson. Together, Dorothy and Ralph shared 34 loving years of marriage, building a strong and enduring foundation rooted in faith, commitment, and deep affection for their family; a legacy that continues through the generations.

She was a dedicated and loving mother to David Anderson, the late Bruce Anderson, the late Patricia Anderson, and Paul (Kim) Anderson. Dorothy was a cherished grandmother to Cara West, Mia Anderson, and Reid Anderson, and a proud great‑grandmother to Aria and Kinsley.

Dorothy had a deep appreciation for the natural world. She loved being outdoors, collecting rocks and Indian arrowheads, and finding beauty in nature’s quiet details. Her curiosity and love of learning extended into her everyday life through reading and doing puzzles, activities she enjoyed well into her later years.

Above all else, Dorothy treasured time spent with her grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply being together, those moments meant everything to her and will be forever remembered by those who loved her.

Dorothy’s life was marked by kindness, strength, and a gentle spirit. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her, and her love will live on in the hearts of her family.
