Dorothy Botkin

Dorothy Irene Botkin (nee Fox), 85, went to her heavenly home on May 26, 2022.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Norma (Cozine) Fox, sister Wanda Lee, brothers Billy, Roy, Robert, Leo, Tom, and Charlie Fox, children Patricia Irene Quintana and Carter Glen Botkin.

Dorothy is Survived by her loving husband of 47 years Carter “Bud” Botkin, sons Tom (Vali) Jones, Dan (Jennifer) Jones, daughters Cindy (Gary) Henry, and Lisa (Wendell) Lowe, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, siblings Jim Fox, Sue Norris, and many more family and friends.

Dorothy spent many years working in electronics in California, Colorado, and St. Louis. Dorothy finally settled back in Centerville marrying Bud. Dorothy and Bud ran the grocery store in Centerville for 10 years. In later years Dorothy and Bud moved to Arnold, MO.

Dorothy was a devoted Christian and loved singing in the choir and volunteering at church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
