Tucker, Dorothy Mae, (nee Henley) of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to William N. and Bertha (nee Frix) Henley and entered into rest Monday, January 2, 2023, in her hometown at the age of 85.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 28 years, Charles Edward Tucker, and her brother, Billy Henley.
She is survived by, her two devoted children, Larry (Melissa) Tucker and Ray (Joyce) Tucker, four grandchildren, Larry Jr. (Lynnette) Tucker, Renee (Greg Fuller) Nash, Jennifer (Pat) Dixon, and Trisha (Josh) DeClue, ten great grandchildren, Craig Jr. Nash, Brayton (Brittney) Tucker, Savana Nash, Madelyn Tucker, Brendon Tucker, Dylan Tucker, Jaycee DeClue, Rylee DeClue, Elaina Dixon and Kaylin Dixon, four great great grandchildren, Briella Tucker, Alejandro Anderson, Kadence Tucker, and Emorii Nash, three siblings, Kenneth (Donna) Henley, Gary (Kay) Henley and Shirley Frank, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dorothy loved writing poetry and music. She adored God and prayed for her family and friends endlessly. Dorothy had a knack for remembering birthdays, anniversaries and was faithful at sending out cards and letters. She enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. She would spend down time watching Westerns. When it came to capturing pictures, she had fun with snapchat filters. Dorothy loved her grandchildren with all her heart and loved to tease and fight with them. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Visitation, Friday, January 6, 2023, from 11:00 am until time of Service at 1:00 pm. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
