Dr. M. Elizabeth “Bee” Brewer, PhD

Entered her sunset on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the age of 85.

Bee loved her garden and her family.  Always the advisor, she was well educated and published obtaining her undergrad and master’s degree from Washington University.  Her PhD from St. Louis University.  She served as a marriage and family therapist until her retirement.  She was active in the Unitarian Church of Kirkwood and loved to sing in the choir.  Consequently, this is where she met her husband, Glenn.

Preceded in death by her Beloved husband Glenn L. Strong; and parents Elsworth Franklin & Katherine (nee Kriechbraum) Brewer

Loving mother of Dawn (Anthony Johnson) Rose and Martha nee Rose (Edward) Engel; stepmother of Donald Strong and Janet Strong; Cherished grandmother of Tiffany Smith, Henry Von Der Ahe, Austen Von Der Ahe, Chandler Von Der Ahe, Sonya Williams, and Mark Williams Jr.; Doting great-grandmother of Ava Von Der Ahe, James Grecco, David Mazo Jr., T.J Gray, Brandon Gray, Kevin Strong and Andrew Strong; Dear sister of Martha Jane Brewer and Katherine Brewer; Dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Please meet family @ 12:45 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, for a procession to go to cemetery. Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 @ Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery @ 1:15 pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Animal Protective Association- APA Adoption Center, 1705 S. Hanley Road, Saint Louis, MO 63144.
