Edgar Stolle, Sr.

Stolle, Edgar W. Sr., July 16, 1918 to September 7, 2008. He is survived by his wife, May Stolle (nee Crecelius) of 69 years. He is the father of Lois, Ed (Judy) and Dan (Nancy). Dear grandpa of Laura, Nicole, Kathy, Matt, David, Sarah, Becky, Jennifer, Kaitlyn and Kevin. Dear great grandpa to Noah, Jonathan, Alex, Georgia, Rowan, Dean, Sammi, Abby and Adam. Ed was a Navy Veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Operations. He spent his working career in the St. Louis shoe manufacturing industry. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Ed's life at St. Thomas/Holy Spirit Lutheran church in Sunset Hills, 3980 So. Lindbergh, on Saturday, September 13, at 2:00 PM. Visitation with family and friends will be at 1:00 PM Sat. and again following the 2 PM service at the church.
