Born August 4, 1935, in St. Louis, MO. To William and Catherine (nee Yount) Warden.  Both of Potosi, MO.

Ed was a machinist at Crown Cork Seal for 20 yrs. & retired from Anheuser Bush after 16 yrs.  He married his wife Barbara Jean Roth of Ste. Genevieve, MO. on March 16, 1963.  He met her at Cas Lomia Ballroom Feb. 1960.  He was a soldier on leave from Fort Leonard Wood.  Barbara was living in St. Louis with her aunt and cousins.  He graduated from Hadley Teck in 1954.  He was in the Army in 1958-1959 in the Korea War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Catherine Koessel and stillborn son William Joseph Warden.

Ed is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Roth) Warden; son David (Chriss), daughters Christina (Kevin) Krask and Catherine (Kevin) O’Brien; 4 grandsons William Warden, Steven Warden, Shawn Krask, and Aaron Krask

Services: Visitation will be held on Wed. July 6, 2022, from 4pm until 8pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road. Services on Thurs, July 7, 2022, at 11:30 am at John L. Ziegenhen & Sons South County Location.   Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to de Greeff Hospice House.
