Elizabeth Ann Finnegan

Elizabeth Ann Finnegan (nee Ruggeri), 63, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away on August 1, 2023. She was born on September 13, 1959.

Elizabeth’s greatest passion was her family, for whom she was a tireless and selfless caregiver. She was a loving wife and mother and often said the greatest joy of her life was being a grandmother to her beloved Ellie, Will, and Finn. Elizabeth gave generously of her time and creative talents and spent nearly two decades serving in many different volunteer roles at her alma mater, Bayless Schools, while her children were students in the district. She was a niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of more than 40 years, David, her daughter Emily (Andrew), her son Max, and her grandchildren Elizabeth, William, and Finnegan. She also leaves behind her brother Charles Ruggeri (Cindy). 

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Fox, and her father, Angelo Ruggeri.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Elizabeth's life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at John L. Zeigenhein and Sons South County Chapel located at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
