Emma Stefan

Emma (nee Furjes) Stefan, 89, of St. Louis, Missouri, born August 25, 1933, in St. Louis, Missouri, died October 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South.

Emma was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church.

She was preceded in her death by her beloved husband, Alvin B. Stefan, her parents, Gaze and Emma R. (nee Moor) Furjes, her brother, Fred & Carol (nee Knes) Furjes, and grandson, Dustin Stefan.

Surviving are her beloved children: Allen (Kim) Stefan of Pevely, Missouri, Christine (Matthew Quiat) Moor of Denver, Colorado, Sandy Leah of St. Louis, Missouri, and Gary (Betsy) Stefan of Festus, Missouri; her beloved grandchildren: Kate (Matthew) of Pevely, Missouri, Emily of DeSoto, Missouri, and her beloved great grandchildren: Keegan Stefan of Evergreen, Colorado, Lucy Nahlik of Pevely, Missouri, and Nora Nahlik of Pevely, Missouri.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63129 with Father Mitch Doyen officiating, and friend, Marcia Jacobi as vocalist. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis.
