Erifili Bellovoda

Erifili Bellovoda, 89, passed away on the morning of February 18, 2022. She was born in Borove, Albania on May 21st, 1932.

She was the daughter of Thanas and Athina Marko. Erifili was a devoted wife of the late Ligor Bellovoda and dear sister of the late Vangjel Marko. She is survived by her nephew Nasian Marko and nieces Athinela (Marko) Kroplin and Mirela (Marko) Ndoni.

Erifili worked as an executive director for almost thirty-five years.  She gained the respect and admiration of the people in her hometown of Korca and abroad through her hard work and dedication. She was also well known within the Albanian community in St Louis, where she worked selflessly as a nanny for many new Albanian families.

She was loved and admired by her family and friends. Her strength, generosity, and wit will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63116.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, February 23rd at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
