Evelyn M. Hartman, 91, passed away, August 2, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late August and Frances, nee Grab, Henke, loving wife of the late Henry Hartman, dear mother of Bruce (Pam) Hartman and the late Stephen Hartman, dear mother-in-law to Stephen’s surviving wife Michelle Hartman, cherished grandmother of Matthew (Christa) Hartman, Brandon Hartman, Matthew (Lauren) Yocom, and Anna Yocom, beloved great grandmother of Kaden, Brady, Cory, Nadia, Mason, and Blake Evelyn. Evelyn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Carl, August, Floyd, Wyman, and Oscar.

Evelyn had many interests including golf, travel, sewing, quilting, reading, and playing card games, she also loved attending family gatherings. She was a long-time member of Redeemer Evangelical Church. Evelyn was a people person who had never met a stranger.

Memorials are appreciated to Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Services: Friends may call from 10am-12pm, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Funeral Service to follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment in St. Paul Churchyard, Sunset Hills, Missouri.
