Evelyn "Evie" Mazdra

Mazdra, Evelyn “Evie”, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Stanley and Veronica (nee Zelasko) Przygoda and entered into rest Monday, December 5, 2022, in her hometown at the age of 84.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, John W. Mazdra, two (2) grandchildren, Brian A. Mazdra and Shannon M. Stone, and her eight siblings, Charles, Clarence, Walter, Louis, Helen, Gertrude, Mary Ann, and Edward.

She is survived by, her eight (8) children, Dan L. (Donna Sommers) Mazdra, Richard J. Mazdra, Kevin J. Mazdra, Kathy (Jim) May, Mike Mazdra, John S. (Joan) Mazdra, Gary A. (Bevin) Mazdra, and Don J. (Elizabeth) Mazdra, seventeen (17) grandchildren, Dan A. (Gerri) Mazdra, Laura A. Mazdra, Julie C. (Dan) Barnes, Kristina D. (Mark) Joseph, Jonathan M. Mazdra, Kimberly J. Mazdra, Jim M. May, Jr., Michael P. May, Jennifer N. (Christian) Clair, Kristen R. (Denny) Boyer, Kenneth J. (Lily) Mazdra, Katherine E. Mazdra, Justin M. Ramsey, Joshua R. Ramsey, Nick R. (Rose) Mazdra, Alissa M. Mazdra, and Jacob D. Mazdra, fourteen (14) great grandchildren, Brayden, Alayna, Evelyn, Desmond, Margot, Kinsley, Baby Boy Joseph, Hailey, Annaleigh, Camden, Annastasia, Caroline, Rosella, and Gino, two (2) siblings, Barbara and Virginia, extended relatives and many friends.

Evie had many interests and talents. The love of her life was her family. She loved cooking for them and being with them. Evie appreciated antiques and collectables. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. She had a real talent for crocheting and embroidery. Evie will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be Visitation, Monday, December 12, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 6603 Christopher Drive, St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
