Fran, 93, loving wife of the late Ken Goebel, went home to be with the Lord on Thurs. Nov. 19, 2020.

Much loved mother of Nancy (Dennis) Kurtz, Tom (Eileen) Goebel and Linda (Bob) Bender; cherished grandmother of David (Ashley) Kurtz, Tim (Ashley) Kurtz,
Whitney (Justin) Ficker, Andrew (Catherine) Goebel, Kelly Goebel, Matthew Goebel, and Teddy Bender; and great-grandmother of five.

Fran was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Leaf, an active church member, loved the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, eating ice cream and attending theater/musical events.  Her favorite TV shows were any shows with Tom Selleck.  She cherished her years as a teacher’s aide at Buder School and library volunteer at Wohlwend Elementary School. She will be truly missed.

SERVICES: Visitation Monday, Nov. 23, 2020 from 6-8 pm at JOHN L.  ZIEGENHEIN & SONS SOUTH COUNTY, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road.  Private family services on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020 followed by Private burial at JB National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse or Charity of your choice.
