Frank Renner

Renner, Frank baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Wednesday, the 16^th day of August 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Mary Louise Renner, nee Suren; devoted father of Cathy (Tim) Drury, Kevin (Michelle) Renner, and Victor Renner; cherished Opa of Ted (Sarah) Drury, Tess (Ryan) Renner, Kiera Drury, and Eric Renner; loving son of the late Philipp and Katarina Renner; dear brother of the late Katherine Werner, Philipp (Gretel) Renner, and the late Theresa Renner; dear uncle and friend to many.

Frank was born in Katsch, Yugoslavia in 1931 and immigrated to the United States in 1949. Frank was a US Army Veteran. He served during the Korean conflict, which earned him his citizenship to the United States. Frank went on to become a carpenter and an excellent cabinet maker for 60 years. Frank was a proud Catholic Knight at St. Cecelia Parish, where was an active Parish Volunteer. In his free time, Frank was known to be an avid golfer and bowler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Spina Bifida of Greater St. Louis Inc. or Catholic Charities of St. Louis.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday August 22, 2023, at John Paul II Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m., with visitation held 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery following Mass.
