Georgette A. Miller

March 9, 1927 — May 20, 2025

St. Louis

Georgette A. Miller moved on to her next adventure on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the age of 98; daughter of the late Edison J. and Agnes M. Haas (nee Vierling); beloved wife of the late James H. Miller; dear sister of the late Joycelyn M. (Francis J.) Schulte; cherished mom of Diane M. Buckles (nee Miller) and Susan M. (Walter Moos) Miller; loving grandma of Thomas J. (Kristina M.) Buckles, Lisa M. (Eric A.) Schatz and Sarah M. (Christopher R.) Thompson; devoted great gran of Mackenzie L. Buckles, James R. Buckles, Riley E. Thompson and Christopher E. Schatz; will be missed by many more nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Happily married for 68 beautiful years, Georgette and her husband shared a bond that was both inspiring and enduring. Their love was the foundation of a family that she cherished above all else. Her home was a haven of warmth, creativity, and joy—a place where memories were made and love was always in abundance.

Georgette had an adventurous spirit that never faded. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip or a carefully planned vacation, she was always ready to explore the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. Her zest for life was contagious, and she brought joy to every journey.

A woman of many talents, Georgette found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved coloring with her colored pencils, solving puzzles, playing Canasta and Dominos, and diving into computer games with the same passion she brought to everything she did. Mystery novels were her favorite escape, and she could often be found lost in a good book.

Since the age of 62, Georgette was a devoted participant in water aerobics, attending twice a week without fail. Her commitment to staying active was a testament to her vibrant spirit and determination.

Creativity flowed through everything she touched. She was a gifted seamstress and embroiderer, always crafting something beautiful with her hands. Her love for sewing and crafting was matched only by the joy she found in sharing her creations with those she loved.

But above all, Georgette was family oriented. Her greatest pride and joy came from her role as a matriarch. She nurtured, supported, and celebrated her family with unwavering love and devotion. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Georgette leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure. She was the heart of her family and the soul of every gathering, always ready with a warm smile and an open heart. Georgette’s life was woven with love, laughter, creativity, and adventure. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
