Heide Harrier Hampe (78) of Oakville, Missouri, was born in Germany to Hermann and Hildegard Riggers and went to live eternally with Jesus, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Walter Riggers.
She is survived by, her devoted husband, Richard Hampe, three (3) sons, Gregory Ong, Stefan Ong and Erik Ong, five (5) siblings, Hanne Vallens, Jochen Riggers, Uwe Riggers, Hartmut Riggers and Rose Riggers, and beloved friends and family members.
Heide was a devoted Christian and lived her life as an example to others. She loved her family and treasured the moments she was able to spend with each of them.
In 1965 Heide moved to California from Germany with her sister Hanne. She worked as a nurse at Peninsula Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of White Flag Church and South County Community Bible Study. Heide volunteered at organizations that supported her values, to name a few, White Flag Church, Pregnancy Help Line, Soup Kitchens, Oasis Tutoring Program and Hospice. Heide traveled the world and lived life to the fullest. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, with doors opening at 1:00 p.m. and Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129.
