Herb Mueller

Mueller, Herb, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Walter H. and Erma M. (nee Altenheim) Mueller and entered into rest Saturday, March 19, 2022, in Saint Louis, Missouri at the age of 88.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Elaine Shields and his brother-in-law, Lee Shields.

He is survived by, his devoted nephew and niece, Len (Coleen) Shields and Jan (Ken) Schneider; one (1) great niece, Angie (Zach) Beaver; three (3) great nephews, Brad Schneider, Cory Schneider and Dave (Erika) Shields; other relatives and many friends.

Herb was a lifetime member of St. Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed helping in the food pantry. He would go to weekly lunches with friends and was a big fan of playing liars poker with them. Herb would go on the Annual Float Trips with friends and family for thirty plus years where fun was had by all. He kept fit by going to weekly mall walks which were naturally followed by food. Herb had a fantastic sense of humor. He was a stranger to no one and was truly an all-around good guy. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services: Visitation, Wednesday March 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis (63116). Funeral, Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Trinity Lutheran Church, 7404 Vermont Avenue (63111). Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
