Irene Strain

Irene H. Strain made her transition on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of Willard Strain; Devoted mother of Kathy (Jack) Tatom, Carman (Tom) Hogan, Ken (Donna) Rudd; cherished grandmother of Todd Hentschel, Paige (Stephen) Morris; and great-grandmother of Logan Hentschel, Kody Hentschel and Ava Lynch; stepmother of Willard Lee Strain, Sandra Pierce, Judy (Ralph) Naideau, Dan (Kelli) Strain, Scott Strain the late Foster (Suzie) and multiple step-grandchildren.

She was a near life-long music teacher.  She had a great interest in spirituality and was a life-long member of Unity Church.  She enjoyed her work as an emergency room clerk, as well as being a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent.  She was a prayer chaplain in the church and was a very strong and loving head of family.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 @ Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery @ 2:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made to Unity of St. Louis South, 3701 Bayless Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63125.
