Jackie Montana, a beloved member of her community, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on December 13, 2025, in Town and Country, Missouri, at the age of 78. She was born on December 3, 1947, in the City of Saint Louis, Missouri. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kind spirit and lifelong commitment to uplifting those around her.

Jackie had a rich career over more than 20 years as a hairdresser, which allowed her to connect with many individuals throughout her life. In addition to her work as a hairdresser, Jackie also shared her passion for nurturing and educating young minds, serving as a preschool teacher and lunch chef. Her dedication extended beyond her jobs, as she was actively involved in various community activities such as the YMCA Fundraiser. She was a proud member of the St. Catherine LaBoure Ladies Guild and contributed to many initiatives, including being a scout leader, a volleyball coach, and grade school room mother.

Jackie is remembered fondly as a friend to all she knew. She enjoyed playing games such as bunko, bingo, and poker, and creating precious memories with family and friends through laughter and shared moments. Jackie took pride in being Michael Montana's high school sweetheart and loving wife for 58 remarkable years. Together, they nurtured a family that Jackie held dear.

She is also survived by her devoted children, Terri (Darin) Varble, Michael (Jill) Montana, Kathleen Montana and Christine (Steven) Summers, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and support. Additionally, Jackie was the cherished grandmother of nine: Cameron (Taylor) Montana, Ashlee Varble, Danielle Chesney, Madison Chesney, Abigail Montana, Payton Montana, Gavin Gajjar, Colin Summers, and Jacob Summers.  Also beloved sister to Robin (Dave) Sachsenheimer and brother to James (Debbie) Conner.

Jackie was preceded in death by her dear parents, Elmer and Jacqueline (nee Mester) Conner; and siblings Lori Conner, Steve Conner and John Conner.

A visitation will be held in honor of Jackie at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on December 22, 2025, beginning at 8:30 AM at the same location, with interment scheduled at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 10:00 AM.

Jackie's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication, which will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
