James Bowman Jr.

James W. Bowman Jr. “J.J.”, 83, passed away November 20, 2022. Son of the late James and the late Edna, nee Davis, Bowman Sr., brother of Edna Lum, and uncle of Tad and Buffy. He also leaves behind many dear friends.

James was a proud Air Force veteran serving as an Air Traffic Controller during the Berlin Crisis of 1961. J.J. was a retired broadcaster having worked in every aspect of the industry including disc jockeying, engineering, producing, and sales. He was a HAM radio operator, model railroad hobbyist, and a radio control enthusiast.
