James A. Coyle, 89, Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on the 20th day of April 2023. Son of the late Anthony and the late Eva, nee Winant, Coyle, loving husband of Dolores Coyle, nee Leek, dear father of Christopher (Karen) Coyle, the late Tim (Joni) Coyle, Catherine (Tim) Murphy, and Sandra (Dave Richardson) Crihfield, stepfather of the late Duane Clubb. He is also a beloved grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

James is a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. James retired after many years as an electrician and member of IBEW Local 1 from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Memorials are appreciated to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church or DeGreeff Hospice House.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5020 Rhodes Ave. St. Louis, MO 63109.
