Jean Marie Jones, (nee Hasting), entered into rest on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Perry L. Jones; devoted mother of sons Thomas (Shara) Jones and Gary (Kim) Jones; dear sister of brother Don (Susan) Hasting and twin sister JoAnn (Robert) Jackson; cherished grandmother of Kasey (Tony) Parrott, Kaylyn (Ryan) Keeven, Tyson Jones, Nolan Jones, Allyson Jones, and Madyson Jones; treasured aunt of Robert (Lisa) Jackson Jr, Julie Voss, Jenny (Dave) Klump, and Kevin (Martha) Hasting; blessed great-grandmother of Dominic, Karaline, Kendall, Roman, Charleigh, and Clayton; our beloved aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Jean’s honor to Redeemer Evangelical Church, where Jean was a lifetime member. A visitation for Jean’s family and friends to gather and share memories will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116. Her funeral will be held the following morning, April 23, at 9:30 a.m., also at the funeral home. Cemetery ceremony and subsequent interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, alongside Jean’s beloved husband, the late Perry.
