Jeffrey Scott Lesher, a passionate florist who dedicated almost his entire life to the family business, Lesher's Flowers, has peacefully passed away in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born on July 27, 1958, in Saint Louis, Missouri, he leaves behind a legacy of creativity and kindness that touched the lives of many.
Jeffrey is now reunited in peace with his beloved father, the late James C. Lesher. His guiding spirit will surely watch over Jeffrey's family as they navigate this difficult time.
While we mourn the loss of Jeffrey Scott Lesher, we also celebrate the memories we shared with him and the impact he had on our lives. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished by his surviving family. His mother Dorothy L. Lesher nee Daniel, his brother Mark (Susan) Lesher, sister Christine (Floyd) Reed, his daughters Sarah Lesher and Hillary (Jordan) Asta, his son Lucas (Allison) Lesher, his grandchildren Hailey Johnston, Wessley Asta, Levi Asta, Wren Asta, Lilyanne Oggesen, Calvin Lesher, nieces, nephews, many friends and extended family. He will also be missed by the family dogs that he held dearly so close to his heart.
Jeffrey's career as a florist was more than just a job; it was a labor of love that showcased his talents and commitment to creating beauty through flowers. His work at Lesher's Flowers reflected his unwavering dedication and passion for brightening people's lives with floral arrangements.
Outside of his professional life, Jeffrey was known for his giving nature and unique personality. He lived life on his own terms, never afraid to dream big or march to the beat of his own drum unapologetically. His free spirit inspired those around him to embrace their individuality and pursue their aspirations wholeheartedly.
In his leisure time, Jeffrey found joy in cooking, exploring tropical destinations, and basking in the sun on sandy beaches. He also enjoyed fishing and camping on the Black River. These hobbies were a source of relaxation and contentment for him, allowing him to recharge from his busy days at the flower shop.
Jeffrey Scott Lesher may have left this world, but his memory will continue to bloom like the flowers he so lovingly cared for throughout his life.
A visitation is scheduled for April 5th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel in St. Louis. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM to honor Jeffrey's life and accomplishments. The interment will take place on April 6th at Mann Cemetery in Annapolis, Missouri starting at 12:00 PM.
