Joan C. Walton

Joan C. Walton (nee Scharpenburg), 86, asleep in Jesus on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Devoted wife of the late Fred Walton; devoted mother of Richard (Jeri) Walton, Janet Walton, Linda (Michael) Wulf; cherished grandmother of Gabriella (Robert) Goeke, Emily (Eric) Heumann, Cassandra Wulf, Taylor Wulf; great-great grandmother of Lucas, Ethan, Garett, Madelyn.

Joan was a devoted wife, & mother to her 3 children, 4 grandchildren, & great-grandchildren.  Joan was very active in her church.  She enjoyed many activities such as golf, tennis, swimming, water aerobics, cards and gardening.

Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Visitation will also be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 9:00 am until services at 10:00 am.  Both services will be held at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home (4830 Lemay Ferry). Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Ziegenheinfuneralhome.com.
