Joe George Rodriguez

Joe George Rodriguez peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Cynthia "Elive" Rodriguez, nee Edwards, and the devoted father of his sons Joseph (Kathy) and John (Diane) Rodriguez. Joe was a loving grandfather to his granddaughters Elle, Dana, and Audra. He is preceded in death by his parents Placido and Frances Rodriguez, as well as his siblings Sidro Rodriguez, Gloria (Dave, surviving) Bader, Delores (Ed) Plonkett, Jesse (Fern) Rodriguez, and Richard (Geri) Rodriguez. Joe is also survived by many other cherished family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Joe George was a man of honor who served in the U.S. Army. His deep love for his family was evident in every moment spent together. Whether it be enjoying each other's company or embarking on outdoor adventures, Joe cherished these precious times with those he held dear. His passion for sports led him to excel in football as a member of the McKinley Academy high school team and he even pursued boxing for the Golden Gloves as well as during his time in the Army. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery as we gather to bid farewell to our beloved Joe George Rodriguez.
